Carolyn takes her inspiration for her paintings from the sea and the countryside.
Her sea and wave paintings come from a love of sailing and the beautiful beaches around the British coastline.
Her paintings are collected worldwide by clients who share her fascination with the colours and translucency of the waves.
In a very different style Carolyn also paints well known harbours. These images are often chosen by the RNLI for their charity calendars and cards. As a keen sailor Carolyn supports the charity by donating the use of the images.
She produces original paintings in acrylic on canvas and limited edition Fine Art prints.
Carolyn works from her new studio in the glorious Cotswold village of Barford St Micheal where visitors are always welcome by appointment.
The George Inn with rooms is a stones throw from her studio and is an added attraction for visitors.
Carolyn’s work is also exhibited by :
- Beaulieu Fine Arts in the New Forest.
- Steam Gallery, Beer in Devon.
- Reeds Art and Framing in Goring on Thames.
